Stickers

Stickers privacy policy. Last updated 2026-10-16.

Stickers is made by Leonardo Aguiar (leonardoaguiar.com) for personal use. It has no account, no server of its own for your data, no ads and no trackers.

#What stays on your phone

Everything you make: photos and videos you choose, cutouts, stickers, packs, names, emojis, tags and settings are stored only in the app's own storage on the device. The automatic cutout runs on the device: Apple's Vision on iOS, and on Android Google's ML Kit, whose model Google Play services downloads once. Your photos are not uploaded to cut them out.

The app asks for the camera only when you take a photo, and picks photos and videos through the system picker, which gives it only what you choose.

#What leaves your phone, and only when you ask

• WhatsApp: the packs you add to WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business are handed to that app on the same phone, through WhatsApp's sticker interface. On the iPhone this goes through the clipboard, as WhatsApp requires, and expires after 60 seconds.
• Sharing: the sticker or pack files you share go where you send them.
• Google Drive (when available in the app and only if you sign in): sign-in goes to Google, and your sticker files and library go to a hidden folder of this app in your own Google Drive. The app asks only for access to its own folder (the drive.appdata scope) and to your name and e-mail address, to show which account is in use. It cannot see anything else in your Drive. Nothing goes to us. Signing out keeps your stickers on the phone; Delete backup from Drive removes the folder.
• Update check (Android): once a day, if Settings › Updates › Check for updates automatically is on, the app asks leonardoaguiar.com for the latest version number. The request carries nothing about you or your stickers.
